Recent statutory and D.D.E regulations are now placing more and more pressure on local authorities to provide non-slip surfaces in public areas. Charles Ash have always been at the forefront of paving and highways surface technology. To increase our own technical capabilities and increase our scope of work, we have researched extensively the impact this new legislation will have on local authorities and the products available to meet their needs.

Working closely with a leading manufacturers of resin technology we feel we have found a product that meets the need of this new requirement. Our own trials have come about due to our in-house need to provide a product suitable for our involvement in the 'Transport for London' project. The 'Ronacrete' products not only exceed the stringent TRL Type 1 scuffing test but it is now been approved for application by us for the 'Transport for London' project.

Ronacrete products are suitable for providing a waterproof, non-slip surface to public areas, industrial, commercial and retail applications, factories, car parks, ramps, steps, platforms, footbridges, roads, cycle paths, balconies and even harbour slipways. It can be applied directly onto damp concrete, asphalt and wood. Metal surfaces require priming.
