Charles Ash has developed and manufactured their own specialist laying equipment for all types of Geotextiles and Geogrids, whether this is a complete membrane prior to resurfacing or a SAMI membrane treatment solely over the joints or cracks.

We have acquired a vast experience of reflective crack control, machine laying and tensioning of bothe geotextiles and geogrids since 1984.

In both geogrid and geotextile laying it is important to pay attention to the surface preparation. In the case of geotextile it is quite acceptable to lay directly onto a planed surface, as the material will conform to most irregularities, and can be rolled with a rubber faced roller. Geogrids on the other hand require a regulating course due to the stiffer nature of the material.
